In addition to being a dog trainer, Arlene is also a Professional Photographer with over 40 years experience in the photography field. Arlene has worked in her own studio and for other photographers over the years. Currently she works out of her home shooting people and pet portraits as well as event photos.

The benefit of being a dog trainer when photographing dogs is beyond words. Being able to help direct, do some training while shooting as well as seeing the expression and knowing how to interpret the dog's body language and what they are saying about the moment is definitely a very valuable skill to bring along to a dog/pet portrait shoot.
